What is The Family, Infant and Preschool Program?

The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) has served families of young children with and without disabilities in western North Carolina since 1972. FIPP team members currently support families and children in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, and McDowell counties in North Carolina. We also proudly serve as an international research and training institute as well as a community-based model demonstration program for children (ages birth to five years), families, and women who are pregnant.

If your family needs assistance for your child, FIPP can help. Our team members help families support their children’s learning and development in their homes and communities. If you are a professional interested in learning about evidence-based practices in early childhood, FIPP offers a variety of learning opportunities. We are eager to share more about what we are doing and how we can be of support to you!
