Ms. Branton graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Rhonda holds a North Carolina professional educators license in Birth through Kindergarten and Special Needs. She has more than 15 years of experience working with young children and their families. She has owned and operated a family child care home and received extensive training in ECERS-R and FCERS-R training from Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Branton has served as a lead teacher for children with developmental delays/disabilities and typically developing children in More at Four and Head Start classrooms in Catawba and Alexander Counties. She has been with FIPP since February 2013.
